Download PDFThe gas concentration detection sensor (gas detector) is used to detect and provide early warning of a dangerous (explosive or toxic) concentration of the monitored gas. The sensor is suitable for use in industrial premises, refrigeration equipment or warehouses, and other enclosed spaces where hazardous quantities of gas may accumulate. Conversely, this detector is not suitable for use in places where higher concentrations of ammonia are present over long periods, such as poultry houses and cattle or pig farms.
The detector is equipped with two-stage signalling – visual (LED indication) and audible (85 dB). Two output relays (volt-free) with switching contacts can be used for remote signalling or control of ventilation / solenoid valve, etc. The sensor is built on the unified PluraSens platform. In addition to the switching relays, the platform also enables the detector to be connected via two analogue outputs 0-10V / 4-20mA and a ModBus RS485 digital interface.
Manufactured in a robust design with IP65 protection - ABS plastic, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to both low and high temperatures, low absorbency, and safe for health.
The sensor service life is more than 10 years.
When ordering, it is necessary to specify the application in order to select the correct sensor type. The recommended coverage area for one sensor is 80-120 m2, radius 5-6 m.
Each sensor is factory calibrated to default values. The law stipulates that recalibration must be carried out at least once every 12 months. Calibration may only be carried out by a person certified by the manufacturer.
