The valve is applicable in all heating and cooling systems where it is necessary to release air to prevent damage to the distribution network. It automatically releases air from the pipes as soon as the overpressure in the system increases, and conversely, prevents vacuum formation by allowing air in when water is being drained from the system. In cooling systems, it is capable of working with antifreeze mixtures based on glycol with a maximum concentration of 50% and a minimum medium temperature of -30°C.

The high-quality materials from which the valve is made ensure long-lasting durability. The valve body is made of brass, the seal is EPDM, and the internal closure spring is stainless steel. The valve is equipped with a check valve, which ensures that the entire system does not have to be drained during any disassembly.

Advantages

  • high-quality materials
  • maximum functionality and reliability
  • years of experience in valve development
  • thorough testing before commissioning
  • operating temperature 5...120°C
  • operating temperature with antifreeze -30...120°C
  • operating pressure 14 bar

Installation

  • dimensions 47 x 81 mm
  • manifolds of any type
  • highest points of the piping

Function

Inside the valve body, there is a float. If the entire space is flooded with water, the float is in a raised position, and the valve remains closed, preventing any discharge. If the level drops and air enters the valve space, the float lowers, and the valve opens to release excess air. The water level then returns to its original level, and the valve closes again.

There is a cap on the valve that can close the entire valve, but it remains loosened during normal operation.
