The BALLSTOP ball valve with a check valve is suitable for heating systems. It combines a shut-off valve with a check valve. The check valve is located in the shut-off part of the ball valve. This allows for quick installation of the valve. It improves pipe flow with only a slight increase in pressure loss. The valve is resistant to impurities in the system. The moving parts are designed to be resistant to dirt and deposits that may occur if the valve is not operated for a long time. The valve responds to even slight changes in back pressure and immediately shuts off the flow.

Function

The valve can be manually opened or closed with the butterfly handle. The check valve closure (2) is pushed against the closing spring (3) during flow. This keeps the valve open and allows flow. When the inlet pressure drops below the outlet level, the closure is pushed in the opposite direction and rests on the valve seat. The valve is thus closed and does not allow flow in either direction, preventing backflow.
