The ultrasonic sensor measures flow in closed systems of cold and hot water in heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. The sensor is resistant to impurities and consists of a flow pipe, two flow transmitters, and an electronic circuit. It is capable of compensating for errors in measuring water flow with glycol content and errors caused by temperature changes. Therefore, a temperature sensor and a glycol compensator are mounted in the sensor. A flow direction arrow is displayed on the body of the sensor's flow pipe. The sensor should be installed so that the arrow corresponds to the system's flow direction; otherwise, incorrect measurements may occur.
