The Danfoss AB-PM valve is a combined automatic balancing valve designed for heating systems in residential and commercial buildings. In a single compact body, it provides three key functions: it maintains a constant differential pressure in the system branches, limits the maximum flow rate to the set value, and enables zone control by connecting a TWA-Q electric actuator. The valve is installed on the flow pipe, while the impulse tube (included in the delivery) is connected to the return pipe.
Thanks to diaphragm differential pressure control, the AB-PM operates reliably even at high pump pressure and prevents excessive noise caused by unstable Δp at radiator thermostatic valves. Flow setting is simple and quick – the value can be continuously adjusted within the range of 20–100% of the nominal flow rate and can be locked to prevent unauthorised adjustment.
