The Danfoss AB-PM HP DN 15 (code no. 003Z1412) is a combined automatic balancing valve designed for use in residential buildings with two-pipe heating systems. It integrates three functions in one compact body: a differential pressure controller, a control valve with a linear characteristic, and a flow limiter.

The HP (high pressure) version is intended for larger underfloor heating installations with higher differential pressure requirements – the minimum Δp for correct operation is 28 kPa (compared to 18 kPa for the standard version). The nominal flow rate at 100% setting reaches 300 l/h, and the maximum operating pressure is PN 16. The valve is installed in the flow pipe in the direction of flow; a 1.5 m impulse tube with adapter is included in the delivery. The connection is via external thread G ¾ A (ISO 228/1), and the actuator is connected by M30 × 1.5 thread.

Thanks to automatic balancing, the valve ensures correct heat distribution even under partial system load, eliminates noise caused by unstable differential pressure in thermostatic valves, and leads to lower heating costs. It is suitable for confined spaces (manifold cabinets, pipe system cabinets) and can be supplemented with a TWA-Q actuator for zone control or connection sets for easy installation of heat meters.
