The Danfoss actuator's modern design includes a "load switch" that prevents overload of actuators and valves.

The AMV 435 actuator is used with 2 and 3-way valves of type VRB, VRG, VF, and VL, up to a diameter of DN 80, and with AHQM controllers DN 40–100. It is also used with the pressure-independent balancing and control valve type AB-QM from DN 40 to DN 100.
