The ASV-I valve from Danfoss is a multifunctional partner valve combining the functions of flow presetting, shut-off valve, measuring nipples and an impulse port in one compact body. It is designed for installation in the flow pipe of a branch in a two-pipe heating system.
The required flow rate in the controlled branch of the heating system can be preset by simple adjustment. The valve is equipped with measuring nipples for verifying the flow rate directly in the flow pipe. The valve body also features a port for an impulse tube, used to connect to the ASV-PV differential pressure controller.
When the ASV-I is combined with the ASV-PV valve, automatic differential pressure control with maximum flow limitation for individual branches of the heating circuit can be utilised. If the ASV-PV valve is not used, the impulse port must be closed with a Danfoss plug (order no. 003L8174).
