The Danfoss ASV-P DN 15 differential pressure controller with female thread is designed for dynamic hydronic balancing of heating and cooling systems. It maintains a constant differential pressure across risers and pipework branches over the entire load range from 0 to 100%, ensuring stable flow regardless of pressure changes in the system.

Application

The ASV-P valve is intended for installation in the return pipe. In combination with a partner valve (ASV-M, ASV-I or ASV-BD), it forms a complete system for limiting and stabilising flow in each branch or riser. By controlling the differential pressure, the need for complex manual balancing is eliminated, and the system automatically adapts to flow changes under partial load.

The ASV-P valve has a fixed differential pressure setting of 10 kPa. If required (e.g. during troubleshooting or under non-standard installation conditions), the setting can be increased to 20 or 30 kPa by replacing the spring – replacement is also possible under pressure without shutting down the system.
