ASV-P is a differential pressure controller designed for heating and cooling systems. It maintains a constant differential pressure in the controlled branch at 0.1 bar (10 kPa). A typical application is the stabilisation of the differential pressure in risers and branches of radiator circuits. The valve is installed in the return pipework and is equipped with shut-off and drain functions.
The ASV-P valve operates together with partner valves (e.g. ASV-I or ASV-BD) and ensures hydraulic balancing of the system. The fixed differential pressure setting of 10 kPa can be increased to 20 or 30 kPa by replacing the spring, even under pressure. This option is particularly useful for troubleshooting and verifying flow in the system.
