The AVDO DN 15 angle-pattern valve is a self-acting constant flow controller designed for heating systems. It opens as the differential pressure increases – i.e. when the heat load drops and radiator valves close – and ensures flow is diverted through the bypass pipework. In this way, it protects the circulation pump against impermissible operating conditions and maintains the minimum flow through, for example, a low water content boiler. The valve operates without external power and does not require an impulse pipe.
