The Danfoss adapter is used to connect energy meters and heat meters with an M10x1 connection thread to pipeline fittings with an internal R½" (BSP) thread. The tapered (conical) thread ensures reliable and permanent sealing without the need for special sealing rings – traditional hemp (flax) combined with jointing paste is used for sealing, which is a proven method in plumbing practice.

The adapter is intended as an accessory for heat and energy meters from the Danfoss portfolio. It enables the installation of meters equipped with an M10x1 thread into standard installations with an R½" pipe thread. The product is supplied in a pack of 1 piece.

The tapered thread (according to ISO 7-1 / EN 10226) guarantees the self-sealing properties of the joint when properly sealed with hemp or PTFE tape. The adapter is made of high-quality metal suitable for use in heating systems and hot water distribution systems.
