Danfoss DEVI Connect Gateway (140F1166) is a Zigbee gateway for DEVI electric underfloor heating systems. Connect it to your router to gain remote access to your Zigbee thermostats via the DEVI Connect mobile app – anytime, from anywhere. The gateway can control up to 200 devices within a single system.
The DEVI Connect Gateway is designed for flats and family homes equipped with electric underfloor heating and Zigbee thermostats from the DEVIreg™ range – specifically the DEVIreg™ Display Connect (140F1162) and DEVIreg™ InControl (140F1170) models. It is ideal wherever you want an overview of your heating system and the ability to change settings remotely: in your main residence, a holiday property or a rental flat. All you need is a free LAN port on your router and an internet connection – the gateway can be connected without professional installation.
The gateway acts as a bridge between Zigbee thermostats and the DEVI Connect cloud app. The thermostats communicate wirelessly via Zigbee (range up to 30 m, frequency 2.405–2.480 GHz), while powered thermostats also serve as signal repeaters, extending the coverage area. The gateway connects to a LAN port on your router, is registered in the app, and from that moment you have remote access to all paired devices. Two LED indicators on the housing show the power and network connection status.
The DEVI Connect mobile app serves as the remote control for the entire underfloor heating system. It allows you to set weekly schedules, switch to manual mode, monitor device status and adjust temperatures – all without physical access to the thermostat. Up to 20 users and 20 properties can be added to one account, so the gateway can manage heating in both your home and holiday cottage at the same time, or share access with other household members.

You need a free LAN port on your internet router and an active internet connection. Connect the gateway to the router using the supplied cable, install the DEVI Connect app, and pair the devices by following the instructions in the app. DEVIreg™ thermostats are purchased separately.
The gateway is compatible with Zigbee thermostats from the DEVIreg™ range – specifically the DEVIreg™ Display Connect (140F1162) and DEVIreg™ InControl (140F1170) models. The thermostats must be switched to Zigbee mode. Initial installer parameter setup is carried out via Bluetooth and the DEVI Control app (different from DEVI Connect).
One gateway can handle up to 200 Zigbee devices. The Zigbee signal range is up to 30 m, while powered thermostats automatically function as signal repeaters, so coverage expands with each additional thermostat.
One account in the DEVI Connect app supports up to 20 properties and up to 20 users. However, each property requires its own gateway physically installed on site and connected to the local router. The app then serves as a central interface for managing all locations.
The gateway supports OTA (Over-the-Air) firmware updates – these are carried out automatically via the internet without the need for physical intervention. The product warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase.
