Danfoss DEVIreg Display Connect (140F1162) is a programmable thermostat for electric underfloor heating with dual temperature sensing – it measures both room and floor temperature at the same time. It features Bluetooth and Zigbee connectivity, an LED display, and a built-in battery for backup of settings. A switching current of up to 16 A allows heating mats and cables to be connected without an external relay.
DEVIreg Display Connect is designed for electric underfloor heating in residential and commercial premises – living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, offices, or shared areas with public access. It is ideal wherever you want simple local control via a rotary knob as well as the option of remote management through a mobile app. The thermostat operates as a standalone unit straight out of the box as standard; optionally, it can be connected to the DEVI Connect system for remote control over the internet.
The thermostat supports two wireless protocols. Via Bluetooth and the DEVI Control app, you can set installation parameters, the weekly programme, sensor type, or temperature limits directly on site without the need for internet access. For remote control from anywhere, simply add the DEVI Connect Zigbee gateway (140F1166) to the system and use the DEVI Connect app – the thermostat then becomes part of the controlled system and also functions as a Zigbee repeater to extend the network range.
The thermostat offers three temperature control modes: floor only, room only, or combined. The combined mode ensures room comfort while also protecting sensitive floor coverings (wood, vinyl) against overheating thanks to an adjustable floor temperature limit in the range of 4–45 °C. The integrated optimum start function (preheating) reaches the required temperature exactly at the set time without unnecessary overheating. The thermostat complies with the requirements of the EcoDesign Lot 20 regulation (EU 2024/1103).
Yes. The thermostat operates independently straight out of the box with default settings – the temperature is set using the rotary knob directly on the device. The DEVI Control mobile app (Bluetooth) is used for more detailed configuration of installation parameters, the weekly programme, and sensor selection; it is not required for basic operation.
Bluetooth (DEVI Control app) is used for local configuration and settings directly within phone range – without an internet connection. Zigbee mode (DEVI Connect app + gateway 140F1166) enables remote control and monitoring from anywhere via the internet. All installation settings must be configured via Bluetooth before switching to Zigbee mode, because they are not accessible in the DEVI Connect app when in Zigbee mode.
The thermostat is compatible with 7 types of NTC sensors (reference point 15 kΩ / 25 °C). A 3 m floor sensor is supplied in the package. For longer cable runs, Danfoss 10 m or 40 m sensors (Santoprene, IP 67) are available as accessories. The thermostat also supports third-party sensor types compatible with this characteristic.
The thermostat is covered by a 5-year Danfoss product warranty. It is installed in a standard back box; the device is compatible with 55 × 55 mm frame systems, so it fits into most common electrical installation ranges. The electrical connection of the heating circuit is made to terminals for a conductor cross-section of max. 2 × 2.5 mm².
