The ESMU-100 sensor belongs to the Danfoss range of immersion temperature sensors with a platinum resistance characteristic Pt 1000 (1,000 Ω at 0 °C, coefficient 3.85 Ω/°C according to EN 60751). Thanks to direct immersion in the measured medium, it provides a fast and accurate response to temperature changes.
The sensor body is made of copper and brass, materials with excellent thermal conductivity. Connection to the pipework or tank is made via a G ½" A thread, with the sealing washer included in the delivery. The cable entry is fitted with a PG9 gland. The sensor is two-wire with symmetrical interchangeable connection cables, which simplifies installation and any subsequent replacement.
