The kit is intended exclusively for the Danfoss EV224B NO DN15 valve with NBR seal (order code 032U8361). This is the normally open version (NO) with G½" connection and Kv 4 m³/h flow coefficient. Separate kits with different codes are available for DN20 and DN25 valves or for the NC version.

The “Actuator kit NO” covers the complete set of pilot and sealing system parts: NBR diaphragm, armature assembly for NO operation, closing spring, and all O-rings (for the coil, armature tube, equalising orifice, and pilot system). The kit enables full servicing of the functional part of the valve without the need to replace the valve body or coil.

The Actuator kit NO (032U6157) includes the complete armature assembly, diaphragm, and all O-rings – it is suitable for full servicing or in the event of armature failure. The Diaphragm kit (032U8118) contains only the closing spring, diaphragm, and pilot system O-rings with FKM seal material – it is used for less extensive servicing of sealing parts or when working with synthetic oils. The choice depends on the extent of the fault and the medium used.

Danfoss recommends installing a filter upstream of the valve with a mesh size of at least 50 mesh (297 µm), which protects the pilot system against contamination. When used in water applications, it is advisable to switch the valve at least once every 24 hours to minimise the build-up of calcium carbonate and oxides. NBR seals are suitable for medium temperatures from –10 to 60 °C; when used with synthetic oils above 40 °C, service life may be reduced.
