The Danfoss FHV-R combined control valve is designed to regulate the return water temperature in wet underfloor heating systems. The valve is intended primarily for smaller heating circuits up to 8 m², where underfloor heating is combined with an existing radiator system. Control is based on the temperature of the flowing water – the valve works together with the FJVR thermostatic element (sold separately), which responds to the temperature of the return water and automatically restricts the flow when the set value is exceeded. This solution protects the floor structure against overheating and ensures a hygienic and comfortable floor surface temperature.
The valve body is fitted into a plastic recessed mounting box, which is built into the wall in close proximity to the return pipe of the underfloor loop. Once installation is complete, only the thermostatic head and the round white front plate remain visible. The supply includes the recessed mounting box, the valve body and the air vent valve. Connection to the pipework is made using compression fittings for copper, steel or plastic pipes.
