A cost-effective Danfoss Icon set tailored for properties with 8 heated rooms (zones). Room thermostats measure the temperature of individual rooms and send data to the master controller. The temperature of each room (zone) is adjusted separately according to the individually set temperature. You can view the current room temperature on the thermostat display. The temperature can be set either manually or remotely via a mobile app. You can easily download the Danfoss Icon app from Google Play or App Store.

Master Controller 24V

The central control unit monitors the temperature in each room using connected thermostats and ensures whether heating needs to be increased or turned off. It regulates underfloor heating and ensures balanced heating of all rooms regardless of their size. This prevents smaller rooms from being prioritized over larger ones, as can happen in some systems.

Ally Gateway - Zigbee Module

The Ally Gateway connects the Danfoss Icon master controller to the wifi network and enables remote communication with the mobile app. Temperature settings or changes to the heating schedule can thus be made from anywhere.

Wireless Room Thermostat with Infrared Floor Sensor

A thermostat with a display that shows the current room temperature. All control and settings of the thermostat are done via the display, which is activated by a light swipe of the finger. Thanks to its design, the thermostat blends seamlessly with any interior without disrupting its concept. The thermostat is connected to the master controller via a wired connection. It is installed directly on the wall in the room in a flush-mounted box.

Thermoelectric Actuator

An actuator that can be connected to valves with an M30x1.5 connection. It visually indicates its current position (open/closed). In the event of a power failure, the actuator automatically closes the valve.

The Danfoss Icon range meets all the requirements for underfloor heating control. It offers high variability and adapts to household needs. It includes four types of thermostats with various advanced features and master controllers that monitor the temperature throughout the property. They are available in both wired and wireless versions with the option to connect everything to a mobile app and control heating remotely.

The Danfoss Icon system knows the approximate size of heated rooms, which allows it to heat all rooms evenly. Water in the pipes usually tends to flow the path of least resistance, choosing shorter loops under smaller rooms. This creates an imbalance where smaller rooms receive more heating water and are heated faster than larger rooms, which receive less water. Danfoss Icon solves this problem by fairly distributing heat according to room sizes.

They are designed in a modern style that blends seamlessly with any interior. For wall-installed thermostats, it is possible to change their frame at will and choose one that best fits the room.

The Icon system is fully compatible with the Ally radiator system. Mixed heating is therefore not a problem at all, the temperature in the system is controlled either by the Ally or Icon system, and it is entirely up to the user which one they choose as the master. Additionally, Danfoss Ally can be connected to voice assistants Alexa, Siri, and Google Home.
