The original Danfoss OD B series oil nozzle is designed for high-pressure oil burners in both domestic and commercial heating equipment. It ensures precise atomisation of heating oil into fine droplets, thereby increasing combustion efficiency and reducing fuel consumption.

OD type nozzles are the basic model in the Danfoss oil nozzle range. The orifice in the nozzle disc has a specially shaped geometry – it is not a simple cylindrical bore, but a precisely defined shape on both the front and rear sides of the disc. This design determines the spray pattern and angle and guarantees perfect fuel atomisation, optimal combustion and maximum burner efficiency.

Each nozzle is 100% electronically tested for both flow rate and spray pattern. The nozzles are manufactured in accordance with EN 293 and EN 299 standards. To maintain optimum combustion efficiency and extend burner service life, it is recommended to replace the nozzle once a year.

The nozzle is intended for high-pressure oil burners firing both light and heavy fuel oil. It is suitable for use in both domestic and commercial heating systems. The B (semi-hollow cone) spray pattern is suitable for burners where an even flame with good stability and efficient combustion is required.
