The OD B (Semi-solid) nozzle produces a semi-solid spray pattern – a combination of a hollow and solid cone, ensuring even fuel distribution across the entire flame cross-section. With an 80° angle, the nozzle is suitable for burners with a shorter combustion chamber, where a wider and shorter flame is required.

Every Danfoss nozzle undergoes 100% flow rate and performance testing directly on the production line, guaranteeing precise and consistent operation. The nozzles are made of brass and are designed for high-pressure oil burners with an operating pressure of 7 bar (100 psi).

Installation and maintenance recommendations

To ensure efficient combustion and reduce fuel consumption, the manufacturer recommends replacing the nozzle once a year as part of regular oil burner servicing. Servicing includes cleaning, nozzle replacement and combustion checking. Installation should be carried out by a qualified service technician. Tighten the nozzle using a torque wrench to 15–20 Nm; do not exceed the maximum torque of 25 Nm.
