The nozzle atomises heating oil into very fine droplets in a solid cone spray pattern. This spray pattern creates a dense and homogeneous oil mist, which mixes efficiently with the combustion air. The result is clean, economical and stable combustion with minimal emissions. The nozzle is made of brass and meets stringent flow accuracy requirements – every single unit undergoes 100% capacity and performance testing directly by the manufacturer.

The OD S type is part of the standard Danfoss OD range, covering flow rates from 0.30 to 35 USgal/h, and is suitable for both light and heavy oil. Nozzles with a flow rate above 1.75 USgal/h are fitted with a Monel mesh filter. The recommended tightening torque during installation is 15–20 Nm.
