The MBS 3000 covers various output signals, versions with relative or absolute pressure, and measurement ranges from 0–1 to 0–600 bar. They are characterized by robust construction and high resistance to vibrations and electromagnetic interference.

2. Sensing Element

Thanks to Danfoss offering two sensing technologies, it can meet versatile application requirements and provide highly competitive solutions.
Both technologies are designed for operation in several different environments:
  • piezoresistive semiconductor technology covers pressure ranges from 1 to 600 bar.
    • this technology is available in absolute or relative versions
  • thin-film technology is mainly used in high-pressure applications up to 2200 bar
    • this technology is available only in a relative version.

3. Housing

The sensor design ensures stable operation throughout its lifetime thanks to:
  • high resistance to shocks and vibrations
  • high degree of protection (up to IP 69K)
  • A. Shock Protection - solutions with shock limitation preventing hydraulic shocks and cavitation
  • B. Stainless Steel Parts - all wetted parts are made of stainless steel
