The modern Danfoss Programmable room thermostat, part of the Danfoss Icon family, controls underfloor heating via a touchscreen display. It offers 7 pre-set programmes that can be temporarily paused. The thermostat can also be used for heating without a programme to a desired temperature range of 5-35 °C. The display also shows the current room temperature. It can be used independently or connected to the Master Controller. Through its triac output, it can control up to 5 thermoelectric actuators. The thermostat is equipped with an adaptive learning function. The display is normally off and activates with a swipe of the finger. It includes a frost protection function (5 °C). The thermostat can also be used in cooling systems.

The thermostat is designed to resemble light switches, ensuring it does not disrupt the interior appearance. It consists of the thermostat body and a replaceable frame, allowing for a highly variable final appearance.
