The VHS-DV valve is a pressure-independent radiator valve with an integrated differential pressure controller that maintains the pressure difference at a constant value of 0.1 bar. This ensures the set heating water flow rate even when the system pressure fluctuates. The flow rate can be preset in steps from 1 to 7 (default position N = fully open valve) using the setting ring without the need for tools. Once the thermostatic head is fitted, the presetting is protected against unintentional adjustment.

The valve is compatible with all standard Danfoss thermostatic heads with RA snap-on connection, including Aveo, Aero, React, Radia and RAX heads. The identifying features of VHS-DV valves are the green protective cap and setting ring. The complete gland seal can be replaced without draining the heating system. The valve is supplied with a protective cap that allows manual flow control during the construction phase. For permanent shut-off of the system, a separate manual shut-off wheel must be used (code no. 013G5002).

Application

The valve is designed for two-pipe heating systems with bottom-connected radiators with a 50 mm inlet and outlet centre distance. Also suitable for universal and bathroom radiators. Commissioning and pump optimisation can be carried out using the Danfoss DeltaP Tool (code no. 013G7861).
