The Danfoss VMT two-way control valve (065F0115) is a direct-acting seat valve designed for flow control in heating and cooling systems. The valve is designed to operate with direct-acting thermostatic sensors of the RAVK series and similar controllers. The compact brass design with G 3/4 A external thread allows easy installation in DN 15 pipework. Thanks to its linear flow characteristic, it ensures precise and smooth control of the flow of the heating or cooling medium.
The VMT valve is intended for flow control in district heating and cooling systems and in standard heating systems. It operates as a control element in combination with direct-acting thermostatic heads or sensors (e.g. Danfoss RAVK), which directly control the valve position without the need for an external actuator or power supply.
The valve body is made of brass (W. No 2.0402), ensuring corrosion resistance and a long service life. The cone is made of NBR rubber, and the spindle is made of chromium-molybdenum steel. The G 3/4 A external thread allows direct connection to the pipework or to the thermostatic head without adapters.
The valve features a linear flow characteristic, ensuring a proportional relationship between stroke and flow rate. The small stroke of 1.10 mm, combined with a kVS value of 1.5 m³/h, is optimised for sensitive and precise control in small heating circuits, for example for radiators in residential units or substations.
