The IMI RTL temperature limiter limits the temperature of the return water coming back from the terminal heating unit or from the end of the underfloor heating. When used for underfloor heating, it is intended for smaller rooms with an area of up to 15 m². It can also be used for a combination of radiator and underfloor heating.

It is not recommended to install the limiter near the underfloor heating manifold or anywhere else where it could be affected by excessive temperature. In such a case, it would remain permanently closed. Therefore, the set value on the limiter must not be set lower than the temperature surrounding the limiter.

The temperature setting is done using a thermostatic head, where the desired value is set by turning. The temperature of the flowing medium then transfers to the sensor. If it is too high, the limiter closes the flow and waits until the temperature drops.
