Download PDFPWM (Pulse Width Modulation) connector provides energy savings and extends coil service life. The connector receives full voltage to energise the solenoid. After a set time interval, the circuit reduces the full voltage to a lower voltage to save energy. This reduces the coil temperature, thereby extending its service life. Power reduction is achieved by means of pulses with adjustable output voltage modulation.
Installing jumpers (bridges) makes it possible to achieve
the required energy-saving setting.
If no jumper is installed, the greatest energy saving is achieved. (PWM signal = 1 × On, 8 × Off)
If all three jumpers are installed, energy saving is at its minimum. (PWM signal = 8 × On, 1 × Off)
