Download PDFThe humidity sensor monitors the moisture content of wood and timber in drying kilns. It detects the moisture value using stainless steel screw electrodes. The electrodes measure moisture on the basis of electrical conductivity in the wood, and their connecting cables are fitted with FEP insulation. This enables them to withstand even the most demanding conditions in drying kilns.
The sensor is equipped with Modbus RTU remote communication and ranks among the most advanced multifunction measuring devices in the PluraSens family. The analogue output transmits a 4–20 mA or 0–10 V signal. The analogue output is switched by jumper.
