The Flamco Contraflex pressurised expansion vessel is designed for sealed heating and cooling systems. When heated, the volume of water in the system increases – the vessel safely accommodates this expansion and helps maintain the system pressure at the correct level. The vessel is fitted with a flexible SBR rubber diaphragm with a rolling action and a nitrogen charge for improved long-term retention of the pre-set pressure. The fully welded construction with epoxy powder coating is designed for reliable operation in building services installations.
