The Flamco Contraflex pressurised expansion vessel is designed for sealed heating and cooling systems. When heated, the volume of water in the system increases – the vessel accommodates this expansion volume and helps maintain the system pressure at the correct level. The vessel is fitted with a flexible SBR rubber diaphragm with a rolling action and a nitrogen charge to retain the preset pressure for longer. The fully welded construction is factory tested and the design complies with the PED 2014/68/EU Directive.
