The Flamco Contraflex pressurised expansion vessel is designed for sealed heating and cooling systems. When heated, the volume of water in the system increases – the vessel absorbs the expansion and helps maintain the system pressure at the correct level. The vessel is fitted with a flexible SBR diaphragm with a rolling action and is factory tested. The nitrogen charge supports long-term retention of the pre-set pressure; the construction is fully welded and also suitable for water/glycol mixtures up to 50%.
