The Flamco Contraflex pressurised expansion vessel is designed for sealed heating and cooling systems. When heated, the volume of water in the system increases and the vessel safely absorbs this expansion to keep the pressure within the correct limits. The vessel is fitted with a flexible diaphragm with a “rolling” function and is factory tested. The nitrogen charge helps to maintain the preset pre-charge pressure over the long term, and the design is also suitable for water/glycol mixtures up to 50%.
