Download PDFThe Flamco Flacovent Clean Smart F air and dirt separator removes air bubbles and all impurities, including traces of magnetite, from heating and cooling systems in industrial applications. This helps to extend the lifespan and reduce thermal losses. Pipe wear is reduced, and system maintenance can be kept to a minimum. Thanks to the design of the separator, the flow resistance is minimal.
Magnetic impurities present in piping systems and released from pipes can cause a range of issues in heating/cooling systems - from noise to pump damage and reduced heat transfer. Flamco Flamcovent Clean Smart F separators capture these particles using 25 neodymium supermagnets. From time to time, it is sufficient to release the magnet, and the impurities are flushed out of the system with water through the drain valve.
Air and impurities are also removed very efficiently thanks to the dual-flow function. As water passes through the separator's fitting, it flows into the wider section of the Venturi tube and from there is directed into the separator chamber, where it is stripped of bubbles and impurities. It is then injected back into the Venturi tube, this time into the narrower section, and from there continues into the distribution system.
