The Flamco Flexvent Max is a premium float-type automatic air vent designed for demanding heating and cooling systems operating at high pressures. Thanks to the conical cap, which is a distinctive feature of the Max range, the air cushion between the water level and the air vent is maximised – ensuring reliable protection of the valve seat against contamination and minimising the risk of leakage. The air vent is integrated into the cap, so the float mechanism cannot be damaged from the outside.

The valve operates automatically on the float principle. As soon as air accumulates in the valve body, the water level drops, the float lowers and the air vent opens. Once the air has been released, the water level rises again, the float lifts and the valve closes. The air outlet can be closed as required using the adjusting screw.

The Flexvent Max model with Rp 3/4" connection (order code 28550) is designed for systems with an operating pressure of up to 25 bar, making it suitable wherever standard air vents are insufficient – for example in high-pressure industrial circuits or large commercial heating and air-conditioning systems. The body is made of brass, while the internal components are plastic.
