The Danfoss AVQM flow controller is an automatic control device designed to maintain the set flow rate at a constant value regardless of changes in differential pressure within the system. The unit combines the function of a control valve and an automatic flow controller in one compact body, thereby simplifying the hydraulic balancing of the entire system.

The controller body is made of high-strength brass and fitted with a precise control mechanism with an adjustable flow rate setting. The internal pressure-dependent element automatically compensates for pressure fluctuations and maintains the flow rate at the set level throughout the entire operating differential pressure range. Typical applications include heating and cooling systems, fan coils, air-conditioning units and industrial processes requiring precise hydraulic balancing.
