The Danfoss AVQM flow controller with integrated control valve is a self-acting device designed primarily for applications in district heating and cooling systems. The valve closes automatically when the flow exceeds the set maximum, ensuring stable and precise hydraulic balancing of the entire system regardless of fluctuations in differential pressure within the network.

Thanks to the valve’s balanced design (pressure-compensated), flow control remains accurate even under significant changes in pressure conditions. The AVQM controller can be operated by an ECL electronic controller in combination with an AMV or AMVE electric actuator, enabling full automation and remote control of heating or cooling water flow.

The connection is made via a G 1 3/4" male thread (DIN ISO 228/1), and installation is possible on both the flow and return pipe in any mounting position.
