Download PDFFlow switch suitable for any pipeline with a size of DN 20...200. Requires no maintenance. It can be manually set to either switch on or off. Monitors flow in hydraulic systems - in heating systems, with cooling devices, and heat pumps.
The flow of liquid through the pipeline causes the movement of the switch's vane system (1). At the end of the vane system, there is a permanent magnet (2), which, when the system moves, approaches the reed relay (3). The return force is provided by a second magnet (4) with opposite polarity. Depending on the selected type, the contact either closes or opens. Once the liquid flow stops, the vane returns to its original position, and the relay either opens or closes again.
The switch is installed in a 1/2" T-fitting. There must be a calming section of 10 times the nominal flow rate of the pipeline both before and after the installation point. The arrow on the switch body should point in the direction of flow during installation.
It is suitable for all liquid media except ammonia.
