A gas concentration sensor (gas detector) is used to detect and provide early warning of a dangerous (explosive or toxic) concentration of the monitored gas. The sensor is suitable for use in underground car parks, boiler rooms, kitchens and other enclosed spaces where dangerous amounts of gas may accumulate. The detector is equipped with two-stage signalling – visual (LCD display) and audible (85 dB). It also features two output relays (volt-free) with switching contacts, which can be used for remote signalling or for controlling ventilation / a solenoid valve, etc. The sensor is built on the unified PluraSens platform. In addition to switching relays, the platform also enables the detector to be connected via two analogue outputs 0–10 V / 4–20 mA and a ModBus RS485 digital interface.  
Manufactured in a robust design with IP65 protection - ABS plastic, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to both low and high temperatures, low absorbency, and harmless to health.

Carbon dioxide is heavier lighter than air. The detector should be installed just above the floor, away from corners, recesses or holes. The recommended coverage area for one detector is 500...1000 m2, which corresponds to a radius of approx. 12...18 m.

Each sensor is factory-calibrated to default values. The law stipulates that recalibration must be carried out at least once every 12 months. Calibration may only be carried out by a person certified by the manufacturer.
