Evikon E2630-LEL is a detector designed to monitor the concentration of hydrogen (H2) in air. The device uses a semiconductor sensor that provides accurate measurements within the lower explosive limit (LEL) range. Thanks to its robust construction and reliable performance, it is suitable for industrial and commercial applications where methane safety limits need to be monitored.

The device is housed in a wall-mounted enclosure with IP65 protection, ensuring resistance to dust and water. In addition, it features a visual and audible alarm for early warning when methane / natural gas concentration rises. The E2630-LEL is equipped with two SPDT relay outputs, allowing easy integration with ventilation and alarm systems.

Typical applications:

The E2630-LEL detector is intended for monitoring hydrogen in industrial and commercial environments such as battery charging rooms, server rooms, gas storage facilities, H2 filling stations, or other areas where flammable gases are handled. The device is used for early detection of hazardous hydrogen concentrations, helping to ensure equipment safety and minimise the risk of fire or explosion.

Hydrogen:

Hydrogen is the lightest and most abundant element in the universe, characterised by high energy density and clean combustion. When used as a fuel, it produces only water, making it an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels. Hydrogen is often used in fuel cells, which generate electricity to power vehicles or supply various devices.

Calibration certificate

Calibration certificate

Every Evikon gas detector package includes a factory-issued calibration certificate. The calibration certificate is in English. Gas concentration measurement is affected by operating temperature and humidity, therefore calibration during detector production is carried out with enhanced safety in mind.
