The ozone detection sensor is used to detect and provide early warning of a hazardous (toxic) concentration. The DM version allows the sensor to be installed directly in HVAC ducting. 

Ozone sinks towards the floor. Therefore, ozone detectors should be mounted above floor level. When used in HVAC ducting, the sensor is installed directly in the airflow.

The EVIKON E2608-O3 detector is equipped with two-stage signalling with outputs to switching relays. It does not have its own visual or audible alarm. Detectors in the E2608 series are an intelligent solution for modern applications with ModBus RS485 communication and two analogue outputs 4-20mA/0-10V.

The sensor can be ordered in the following versions:

• wall-mounted (in stock)
• for HVAC ducting (on request)
• with cable probe (on request)

Manufactured in a robust IP65 enclosure - ABS plastic, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to both low and high temperatures, low absorbency, and safe for health. The sensor service life is more than 10 years.

Each sensor is factory calibrated to default values (described in the manual). The law stipulates that recalibration must be carried out at least once every 6 months. Calibration may only be performed by a person certified by the manufacturer.
