Evikon E2610-HFC Gas Concentration Detection Sensor

The gas concentration detection sensor (gas detector) is used to detect and provide early warning of a hazardous (explosive or toxic) concentration of the monitored gas. The sensor is suitable for use in underground car parks, boiler rooms, kitchens and other enclosed spaces where dangerous quantities of gas may accumulate. 

The sensor is equipped with two-stage signalling – visual (LED) and audible (85 dB). Two output relays with changeover contacts can be used for remote signalling or ventilation control. Connection via the UART interface is possible. 
Manufactured in a robust design with IP20 protection rating - ABS plastic, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to both low and high temperatures, low absorbency, and safe for health.

The sensor service life is more than 5 years.

The default alarm values are set to 70 ppm, 100 ppm and 300 ppm. The recommended coverage area for one sensor is 80-120 m², 5-6 m radius.

Each sensor is factory calibrated and a calibration certificate is included in the package. The law stipulates that recalibration must be carried out at least once every 12 months. Calibration may only be performed by a person certified by the manufacturer.

The sensor is intended for the detection of HFC refrigerants R-12, R-123, R-125, R-134a, R-143, R-22, R-404a, R-407c, R-410a, R1234yf and others.

The sensor is factory calibrated for R410a.
