Combustible gas detector is designed to measure the level of detected gas in the air and provide early warning of a hazardous (toxic) concentration. The detector is suitable for use in underground car parks, boiler rooms, kitchens and other enclosed spaces where dangerous quantities of gas may accumulate. Hazardous gas concentration detectors are generally used in combination with a gas detection control panel located in a safe zone (outside Ex areas).

It does not have its own visual or audible alarm signalling. The E2670 series detectors are an intelligent solution for modern applications, featuring ModBus RS485 communication and two analogue outputs 4-20mA/0-10V. The detectors must be connected to a control panel, which processes and evaluates the collected data.

Manufactured in a robust aluminium housing with IP66 protection, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to both low and high temperatures, and safe for health. Suitable for use in ATEX Zones 2 and 22. More detailed information about ATEX can be found in the declaration of conformity and the technical data sheet.

Each detector is factory calibrated to default values (described in the manual). The law stipulates that recalibration must be carried out at least once every 12 months. Calibration may only be performed by a person certified by the manufacturer.

The recommended coverage area for one detector is 80-120 m², with a radius of 5-6 m.
