Download PDFTwo-way diaphragm gas shut-off valve Armagas BAP DN 50 NT solo R. It is primarily designed as a safety shut-off for controlling the flow of gaseous media through piping (heating and other non-aggressive gases). Its most common use is in front of a boiler, as an emergency shut-off or as dual shut-offs for gas burners.
The Armagas BAP DN 50 valve is an indirect (the diaphragm is not directly controlled by a coil but by the pressure of the flowing gas), direct (it has two positions - open x closed) valve suitable for non-explosive environments. It is closed without voltage. According to EN 30, this valve cannot be used as an automatic shut-off valve for cooking appliances.
It can only be mounted horizontally and at least 15 cm from the ceiling. Ventilation above the valve is also recommended, as there is a possibility of gas leakage above the diaphragm when switching on/off. This state lasts for a maximum of 1 second.
