The E2618-LEL concentration sensor is part of the new PluraSense® range of multifunction measuring instruments. It uses a fully calibrated and temperature-compensated semiconductor sensor with excellent repeatability, stability and long service life.

The E2618 series sensor is an intelligent solution for modern applications with ModBus RS485 communication and two analogue outputs 4-20mA/0-10V.

The sensor is supplied in the following versions:

  • wall-mounted
  • wall-mounted with remote probe
  • duct-mounted

With two types of sensor:

  • semiconductor
  • catalytic sensor (on request)

The device can be supplied with or without an LCD display.

The sensor is sensitive to the following gases:

Propane (C3H8) Petrol vapours (C6H14) Methane (CH4) Butane (C4H10) Hydrogen (H2) Acetylene (C2H2)

THE DETECTOR IS CALIBRATED TO PETROL VAPOURS BY DEFAULT.

Each sensor is factory-calibrated to default values (described in the manual). However, recalibration is required after a certain period of time. For the metal oxide sensor, this interval is 12 months and its service life is 5 years. For the catalytic sensor, the recalibration interval is shorter, 3...6 months, with a sensor service life of 3 years. Calibration may only be carried out by a person certified by the manufacturer.
