The Grundfos MIXIT DYNAMIC digital license upgrade is suitable for pressure applications. It allows for pressure independence of the valve from 5 to 250 kPa and provides energy monitoring through built-in flow and temperature sensors.

The DYNAMIC upgrade also includes four advanced balancing limiters

• Supply flow limit - To ensure sufficient primary flow to all installed MIXIT systems, you can balance each system according to its heat demand. This is done by limiting the primary flow.

• Heat output limit - MIXIT can be set to limit the heat output delivered by the mixing loop.
• Temperature difference limitation - MIXIT can be set to limit the temperature difference between the primary supply and return flow.
• Return temperature limit - The return temperature limit is commonly used to maintain high efficiency at the heat source and to protect the production plant.

An integrated temperature sensor monitors the return temperature. Using the return temperature limitation function, it is possible to keep the temperature below a set threshold.

The DYNAMIC and CONNECT upgrades can be combined.
