Download PDFThe Grundfos SCALA1 automatic pumping system with a self-priming pump is designed for utilizing rainwater, boosting pressure in the system, and distributing water to the final destination. The system is installed within the water supply network, but when pumping water, it always prioritizes rainwater. In case of its shortage, it switches to a backup source from the network. This preset can be disabled to allow the system to pump only network water.
Rainwater is collected in an integrated tank with a capacity of 15 litres with a float valve that monitors the water level in the tank. The compact design ensures that there is no contamination of the drinking water network through back-suction.
The system is suitable for households that want to collect and use rainwater, for floor cleaning applications and systems, and for greywater applications.
