The electronic heat meter Siemens Megatron 5 WFM502-E000H4 is a compact unit designed for precise measurement of thermal energy consumption in heating systems. The device combines a flow meter section and a pair of Pt1000 temperature sensors, whose data is evaluated by an integrated unit powered by a lithium battery with a lifespan of up to 10 years. The meter allows for any mounting position and is equipped with an IrDA optical interface for local data reading.

With additional communication modules, the device can be integrated into Siemeca AMR, WalkBy, or M-Bus systems. The meter provides self-diagnosis, displays current values and stored monthly data directly on the display.

The H4 version allows the display of thermal energy consumption in GJ units, while the H0 variant standardly operates with kWh/MWh.
