Download PDFThe HF 3415 filter removes impurities, rust particles, and metals from the heating system and automatically vents it. It filters both coarse and fine impurities, magnetically captures metal parts, removes sludge and corrosive gases such as oxygen and nitrogen. Everything is easily cleaned with a backwash. The filter protects heat pumps, valves, and radiators, thus extending their lifespan.

The parts of the filter are made from high-quality brass alloy and stainless steel, with others made from durable elastomer. The filter chamber contains a core with a magnetic rod and synthetic beads, a backwash filter, and an automatic air vent.
The filter is always installed in a vertical position, although it can be connected to both vertical and horizontal pipes. Connection to the system is made using flanges, which need to be purchased separately (not included with the filter package). However, there are two connection sizes available - DN 20-32.
The HF 3415 heating filter is recommended to be combined with a filling device, which fills heating systems with water while preventing the backflow of heating water into the drinking water system. Together with the filter, they form an ideal combination for protecting the drinking and heating system, reducing maintenance costs, extending the system's lifespan, being noise-free, and ensuring optimal heat transfer.

In the filter chamber, there is a magnetic rod and synthetic beads, which are charged with an electrostatic charge by the constant water flow in the system. Impurities and particles in the water then adhere to these beads and the magnet trap.
Air in the heating system passes through the filter, where it is captured and stored to be subsequently released by automatic ventilation. The water leaving the filter is thus perfectly free of all unwanted bubbles.
In the core of the filter, there is a magnetic rod placed in a plastic trap. Metal particles from the pipes passing through the filter adhere to the plastic trap and remain on it. The magnet is therefore not clogged or contaminated. The trap is cleaned by backwashing and removing the magnetic rod.
When the filter valve is opened, the normal operational flow is interrupted, and the backwash is initiated. The wash removes the charge on the synthetic beads and carries away all accumulated impurities. The filter can be equipped with RSA backwash automation, which ensures automatic backwash at set time intervals.
