The D05 series pressure reducing valve protects water supply systems against excessive mains pressure. It prevents damage caused by negative pressure and reduces water consumption. Thanks to the adjustable outlet pressure, a constant outlet pressure is maintained even when the inlet pressure fluctuates. By reducing the pressure and maintaining it at a constant level, noise is minimised as a result of water flow within the system.

Features:

  • inlet pressure compensation – fluctuations in inlet pressure do not affect the outlet pressure
  • replaceable valve cartridge made of high-quality synthetic material
  • adjustable outlet pressure in the range of 1.5...6 bar using a knob
  • adjustment pressure scale
  • the adjustment spring is not in contact with drinking water
  • also available without fittings
  • ACS approved
  • DVGW

How the valve works

Spring-loaded pressure reducing valves operate using a force balance system. The diaphragm force acts against the spring force, causing the valve to open or close. When water is drawn off, the outlet pressure drops, the diaphragm force decreases, and the spring can therefore open the valve. When there is no water draw-off, the outlet pressure rises, the diaphragm force increases, and the valve closes. The inlet pressure has no effect on the opening/closing of the valve.

For smooth operation, we recommend installing a filter upstream of the valve.
