The DPTE1000 sensor is used for measuring differential pressure, overpressure, and vacuum in air conditioning systems. It is also utilized in building automation, environmental protection, valve and damper control, filter, blower, and level monitoring, and for controlling air flow.

In operation, the sensor measures pressure using a thin silicone membrane, which is deflected by the pressure. The resistance of the deflected membrane detects the displacement and generates an output electrical signal. This is converted into an analog signal. Factory preset to a 0...10 V signal, it can be changed to 4...20 mA.
